A Kiss for the Petals – My Dear Prince | Watashi no Ouji-sama

Hanabira

After much waiting, I finally got around to playing the second installment of Sono Hanabira ni Kuchizuke wo.

Sono Hanabira ni Kuchizuke wo Watashi no Ouji-sama (その花びらにくちづけを わたしの王子さま) translates to “to kiss that flower petal… my prince-sama” or something like that. In Ouji-sama, the yuri happens in the same school as the first Hanabira; in fact, Yuuna-sempai from the first one makes a guest appearance.

Once again, this visual novel plays out very linearly and has only a few choices that don’t affect the single ending. Of course, Hanabira games tend not to value plot, but instead put emphasis on the clean and sexy CGs.

Kaede is the overly shy class president. She hates attention and lacks confidence. Sara is her cousin and childhood best friend. The two were separated at a young age when Sara’s family moved.

Sara (left) and Kaede (right)

The story begins with Sara’s transfer to Kaede’s school. Of course, Sara never forgot about Kaede and she still loves her, but no longer just as a cousin and a childhood friend. However, problems arise because Sara is now a celebrity status teen model. Kaede has a hard time with all the attention her being with Sara attracts. Furthermore, she constantly feels that she is not good enough for Sara. Over the course of the game, Sara helps Kaede to eventually gain confidence in herself and together, they form an even stronger relationship.

Sara and her ouji-sama

Personally, I like Sara a lot more than Kaede. I guess I’m not too into the withdrawn, unsure, introverted, annoying type of girl. Moreover, Kaede is a little too large in the chest. Sara, on the other hand, looks more loli and has a much more charming personality.

Sara… 萌死了.

There are three other Hanabiras as of now. Will they ever get translated?

Edit: Yes, they will. And there are way more than three now. Check out the reviews below.

Download for the game here: Watashi no Ouji-sama Download

As usual, I want to say something about the download… Since I’ve gotten quite a few requests for this both in the comments and in private contact, I decided to upload this is for sampling purposes only. Please buy the real copies of the game if possible. I bought mine in Taiwan. I think they can be found online too.
With that said, enjoy and drop a line if you downloaded from here. ^_^
Don’t download if you’re too young!

Hi, my computer have windows 7, and I extracted the game , then I executed the program i cliked next, i browse a briefcase and that just cant put next pls help

    • Yi says:

So after you extracted the file, you should have a folder. Find Hana2.exe and execute it. It should play… If not, try these fixes: Make a new folder and drag all the content to the new folder, and try again. Also, make sure you have Japanese language pack installed on your computer.

If you’re using the English translation patch, follow the instructions on the translator’s website. But first, make sure you are able to play it without the patch. Hope this helps, Kata. ^ ^

  2. epeldoll says:

do you have a cg pack of this game?

  3. S Thomas says:

Sorry if this question has already been answered, but does anybody have Windows 8? If so, did anybody have trouble installing? When I try to setup the game I get an error. When I download the patch and try and run it from there I also get an error. Any help would be great…

Also, I had no trouble playing game 1. I have the Japanese language pack installed.

    • Yi says:

Hm… If the error is something along the lines of: “Main window-file join”, try this quick fix—copy all the files to a new folder and execute the play file. Hope this helps. ^ ^

  4. atrox48 says:

is it just me or the patch to oujisama isn’t working?!

    • Yi says:

As far as I know, it should work. Make sure the game works without the patch first. Then make sure that you have installed the patch correctly. For issues with the patch (that is, after you’re sure the game works on its own), you may find better answers over at the translator’s site. Good luck. ^ ^

    • nelsykp says:

Sorry,I just wanted to say that I Download the game and when I try to open it I get the sign of the image of my previous comment

      • Yi says:

Try this: Make a new folder, and move all the files from the older to the new folder. This should get it to work.

        • nelsykp says:

does not work and I get:
          “ACE‹ƒtƒ@ƒCƒ‹DATA‚ð“Ç,Ýž,ß,Ü‚¹,ñB

        • Yi says:

You also need to have Japanese languages in your computer. But yea, usually, just making a new folder and moving all the files to the new folder fixes it. If not, I’m not sure what you can do. Good luck.

  6. Menchitah says:

  7. AXYPB says:

  10. Out of curiosity:
So I was watching Summer Time Record PV (Kagerou Project) for the Nth time and noticed something the day it was released (September 2 2013) and forgot to post it here
I’ve been wondering if this Peco who worked with KagePro is also the same person in SonoHana
LOL (credits starts at the first few seconds of the vid and it says there that the person who did the animation was Peco)
anyway, LONG LIVE KAGEPRO AND SONOHA! XD

  11. Drinkie says:

I have the older (non-remake) version of Watashi no Ouji-sama eng patched and i’m playing through it again but i don’t recall having a issue in the past where the normal music plays during the sex scenes is there a way to fix that?

Before anyone suggests it yes i do run as admin and yes i have got my Pc’s Applocale set to jap

    • Yi says:

If you are not on Windows XP, try running it in compatibility mode. Right click on the .exe icon > properties > select run in compatibility mode with Windows XP. I hope this fixes your issue.

  12. So... says:

    the english patch doesnt work

  13. Korodoch says:

What’s up with the last 5 CG slots never being unlocked? Did they get removed or is there some obscure choice combination i missed to unlock them?

  14. yuzu mei says:

  15. Ye Lin Myat says:

  16. sharkk12 says:
