Olympic Women’s Gymnastics

Recently, I’ve been watching the Games every night.

The biggest sensations during this Olympic season are probably Michael Phelps, Michael Phelps, and more Michael Phelps.

Though respectable and beastly, Michael Phelps isn’t the most entertaining to watch though. I’ve watched a lot of the swimming events, but most of them pan out the same way… Phelps wins gold while breaking the world record.

Rather, I had a lot more fun watching gymnastics, although the Chinese gymnastics team looked like they were six… It’s kind of freaky.

Seriously though Natia Liukin is great. She was great fun to watch and it’s awesome that she won her deserving gold medal.

    I always feel a little… dirty… watching the gymnastics (floor & the big floor bar). The ages, the poses, the outfits… eh. Plus a lot of it doesn’t make sense to me; all the strutting and posing and curving the hands in weird gestures.

    The swinging bars is okay, and some of the moves on the uneven bars are amazing.

    When did they introduce trampoline gymnastics?! I saw that the other night and my jaw dropped. I mean WOW.

    @grace: Yea, I was glad too

    @piggy-san444: Agreed on all points.
